For the past fifteen years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching a broad spectrum of philosophy courses at several colleges in Belgium, to all kinds of students. I’ve always done it with genuine enthusiasm—teaching is truly my passion. There’s something magical about the process: it’s not just about passing on knowledge, but about embarking on a journey together.

What keeps it so endlessly fascinating is that every time I prepare a class, I find myself understanding the material more deeply—precisely because I have to see it through the eyes of my students. Suddenly, familiar philosophical landscapes appear completely different when viewed from new perspectives. That’s the real gift of teaching: it’s as much about giving as it is about receiving.

I hope to keep doing this, in whatever shape or form, for many years to come.

  • 1. CRASH COURSE on 'Ethics of AI' (4h)

SMART OR WISE? How to implement AI?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is hot and increasingly permeates our lives, in the form of chatbots, image generation, to personal assistants. This raises numerous urgent questions that we should think about as a society. The call for reflection on the opportunities and threats of AI is all too often drowned out by dramatic predictions about a future Superintelligence (the Singularity!), which could dominate humanity—embraced enthusiastically by some, and fiercely feared by others.

  • 2. Co-creative LECTURES and WORKSHOPS

I am always open to new invitations for talks, workshops, or collaborative projects. I especially enjoy working together with others to design workshops or co-create engaging sessions—whether that means sparking philosophical discussions, exploring big questions, or simply setting out on a shared intellectual journey.

Rather than delivering one-way lectures, I prefer to invite interaction: asking questions, encouraging dialogue, and building the experience together with participants. My areas of focus include consciousness, authenticity, and the relationship between mind and body, but I am just as comfortable exploring literature, cosmology, or entirely new themes. If you have an idea or a topic you’d like to explore together, I’d love to hear from you and see what we can create.

  • 3. TUTORING FOR STUDENTS

I offer assistance with exams in philosophy, ethics, and the history of philosophy. In addition, I also provide coaching and support with papers and writing assignments, recommendations for additional literature, and more.
